Goldcrest Homeowners, Following up on requests to reestablish our BLOCK WATCH Program, the Board has set an initial meeting with the Olympia Police Department for October 9th at 7:00 PM at Marshall Middle School (where we normally have out annual meeting). A Block Watch subcommittee has already been formed with 6 neighborhood “captains” to help administer the program and distribute news. The Goldcrest Little Free Library is now complete. It is located in the park near the swings. All homeowners may use it. It was built by volunteers---no HOA dollars were spent. Please borrow, read, and replace OR take one and leave one. Also feel free to donate any books by just placing them in the case. There are 20 books there now. If you like to contribute to the construction costs, please contact Alan Spaulding at bhd-alan@comcast.net.
