Call for Candidates
If you would like to run for a position on the Board, please submit the following information no later than February 18, 2026:
Your statement will be included with the official ballot materials distributed to all members and on the website.
How to Submit
Please send your candidate information to the Association via email (hoa@goldcresthoa.gmail.com) or mail it to Goldcrest HOA, 1450 Sunnyvale Court NW, Olympia, WA 98502 using the contact details provided in this notice.
What Happens Next
After the nomination period closes, the Election Committee will prepare and distribute ballots along with candidate statements. Members will receive additional details about the election meeting, voting procedures, and key dates.

Interested in being a Board Member? Here’s what you need to know
Serving on the Board is an opportunity to help guide the community’s future, support responsible governance, and ensure the Association continues to thrive. We encourage all members who are interested in contributing to consider submitting their candidacy.
Board directors should expect to commit at least 2-3 hours per month to meetings and communications. Since we are working on updating Bylaws and Covenants to be in alignment with changes to the State Laws, expect to spend additional hours reviewing proposed changes. Board Directors may also serve on any of the committees, which will require additional time.
Each year there are board positions that are open for election. In even numbered years, the even numbered seats are open for election. This year those positions are 2, 4 and 6. In odd numbered years, the odd numbered seated positions are open for election. The chart below shows your current HOA board and the positions they hold. Highlighted positions below show the positions open for election.
